PTA Events was created in 2013 by David Cooke, a Parent and PTA member, for his children’s school. David identified that so much of what the PTA committee, school and volunteers were required to do to support all the different fundraising events could be supported by a time-saving system. The aim was to make it much easier for PTA’s to run multiple events and manage payments without handling cash.

Roll forward to today, PTA Events is the time-saving feature-rich superhero PTA committees and Schools need. PTA Events takes the stress out of promoting and selling tickets for events, communicating with parents, organising volunteers and raising awareness in the wider local community of the fundraising activities.

Thousands of organisations have so far raised millions of pounds that have gone straight back into the advancement of their children’s education through fun and exciting well-managed events using the PTA Events platform.

Once registered and fully signed up, your PTA will have its very own unique and branded PTA Events site for your School, with access to all of the different features and benefits available on the PTA Events platform. The following are key features each unique PTA Events website includes:

  • Ticketing: Sell unlimited events, tickets, and products.

  • Event Types: Sell everything from tickets to fireworks nights, Easter hunts, food pre-orders, Santa bookings and even uniform sales.

  • Auctions: Run popular online auctions to help reach fundraising targets.

  • Information: Capture all the information need about attendees such as event dietary requirements and other information needed to run an event efficiently and effectively.

  • Committee: Be more inclusive by listing committee members so the local community can see who is involved.

In order to set up your unique PTA Events website, you will need to provide details on who you are, your PTA and School name, address, and choose your unique PTA web address, along with a password.

Registration takes no more than a few minutes to complete, and you will receive a follow up email detailing everything you need to know to get fundraising for your PTA and School.

Starter: With a Starter Plan – all the key features are there for you to use, and free. You have a choice as to whether the platform fee (2.95%) is paid by your PTA or included in the price of a purchased ticket. The majority of our organisations include the small platform fee in their ticket prices. The only additional cost is if your PTA uses the QR code scanning app – where a small fee is applicable.

Pro: With the Pro plan you can be in control of your own unlimited advertising spaces and unlimited business directory, to help create another stream of income for your PTA. As an added bonus too, you get a reduced platform fee of 1.5% and no cost for the scanning of QR code tickets. The annual cost of the Premium plan is £299 + VAT.
